AfterFive is designed so diners can discover happy hours without creating an account. This policy explains what the app handles and why.
Information used by the consumer app
You do not need an account to browse restaurant listings. If you allow location access, AfterFive uses your device location to sort happy hours by distance. The distance calculation happens on your device, and your coordinates are not sent to AfterFive’s servers. You can decline location access and choose a city instead.
Business accounts
Restaurant owners, administrators, and managers may create an account to maintain listings. For those accounts, AfterFive stores the email address used to sign in, authentication records, business-account membership, and the restaurant locations the account is authorized to manage.
Support and corrections
If you contact us, we receive the information you choose to send, such as your email address, message, and details about a restaurant listing. We use it to respond, investigate the issue, and improve listing accuracy.
Restaurant listings and sources
Listings may include public restaurant information and links to the restaurant’s own website or menu. AfterFive preserves source links and review details so people can understand where published happy-hour information came from.
Service providers and security
AfterFive uses service providers to host the app’s backend, authenticate business users, and deliver published listings. We limit access to business-account data according to each user’s authorized business and restaurant locations. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure.
Your choices
You can change location permission in iPhone Settings. Business users can request help with account information by contacting us. We retain information only as needed to operate the service, resolve issues, and meet applicable obligations.
Children and policy changes
AfterFive is not directed to children under 13. We may update this policy as the app changes and will post the revised date on this page.
